Criminal Bail Schedule

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1269b(d) of California Penal Code, the Criminal Bail Schedule was amended and adopted by a majority of the Judges at a meeting held on January 30,  2024.

The Bail Schedule will remain in effect until January 1, 2025, unless amended or repealed by the Court.

Local Criminal Bail Schedule 

Note: The Bail Schedule is the presumptive bail for many, but not all statutory offenses. A Judicial officer may review bail in any individual case and exercise discretion in setting appropriate bail different from the schedule.

In doing this the judicial officer will consider:

  • protection of the public,
  • the seriousness of the offense charged,
  • the previous criminal record of the defendant, and
  • the probability the defendant will appear at trial or at the next hearing.
