Small Claims Advisor

The Small Claims Advisor can provide you with information about small claims cases, including but not limited to:

  • How to fill out forms;
  • How to name the defendant;
  • Where to file your forms;
  • How to serve the other party;
  • How to collect a judgment.

If you have a Small Claims question, you have two ways to contact the Advisor:

  • Telephone: Call (408) 882-2929 during live phone hours every Tuesday at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Webform: Please complete and submit the form below, and the Small Claims Advisor will email you.

You can access the State Court's Small Claims chat bot on their website at any time
