E-Notice: Receive Court Notices via email instead of regular mail

What is E-Notice?

If you have a case in Family, Probate, Civil, Small Claims or Juvenile Dependency court, you can provide a valid email address and file a consent form to receive Court notices electronically instead of by regular mail. Such notices include, but are not limited to, Notice of Status Conference, Notice of Hearing, Notice of Case Reassignment and Notice of Change of Venue.  See the flyer for a printable version of this information.

Do I have to agree to receive e-notices?

Attorneys are mandated to receive court notices electronically. Self-represented litigants are not required to participate but can complete and file a consent form to receive court notices by email. Litigants can also withdraw this consent by signing and filing a withdrawal of consent form at any time they wish to go back to receiving printed notices by regular mail .

What will the email look like?

Below is a snapshot of the email. The subject line will say “Court Notice” and state your case name and number. You click on the link in the email to see the notice. This email may go into your spam folder until you designate the sender as “not spam”.
