Proposed Local Rules of Court

The rules are updated on January 1 and July 1 of every year. Click here for the current local rules. When there are proposed updates to the local rules and forms, they will be posted here for public review.

The rule changes are provided in PDF documents. Changes in these documents are noted with strike-outs for deleted text and underlined text for inserted text.

Proposed Local Rules - The 45-day period for public review & comment will end April 11, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.:

  1. Family Local Rule 2 and Form FM-1080
  2. General Court and Administration Rule 4.A
  3. Juvenile Local Rule 1.K.c, Form JV-2033, and Form JV-2034

Public Review:

The proposed rules for July 1, 2025 have been posted above.  Feedback should be sent to the Court via email at ssweb@scscourt.org.
