Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara Announces Appointment of Bhavit Madhvani as Commissioner

SAN JOSÉ, CA (December 30, 2025): The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara is pleased to announce the appointment of Bhavit Madhvani as a commissioner of the Court. His swearing-in is scheduled for January 5, 2026 at 4pm in Department 17.

Mr. Madhvani has served as a Deputy County Counsel with the Office of the County Counsel for the County of Santa Clara since 2014. In this role, he has contributed to the County’s work in assessment appeals, child welfare matters, and medical billing and debt collection practices. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Madhvani has demonstrated a commitment to public service, social justice, and advancing equity; values he has consistently centered in his work with the County.

Prior to his public service career, Mr. Madhvani worked in PwC venture capital tax group, where he advised clients on federal, state, and local tax matters.

Mr. Madhvani earned his Juris Doctor degree from UC Law San Francisco and his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University.
