Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara Swears In Bhavit Madhvani as Commissioner

SAN JOSÉ, CA (January 5, 2026):  The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara today formally welcomed Bhavit Madhvani as a Commissioner of the Court following his oath of office ceremony, held this afternoon.

Commissioner Madhvani brings more than a decade of public service experience to the bench. Since 2014, he served as a Deputy County Counsel with the Office of the County Counsel for the County of Santa Clara, where his work spanned assessment appeals, child welfare matters, and medical billing and debt collection practices. Throughout his career, Commissioner Madhvani has demonstrated a commitment to public service, social justice, and advancing equity.

Prior to joining County Counsel, Commissioner Madhvani worked in the venture capital tax group at PwC, advising clients on federal, state, and local tax matters.

“The Court congratulates Commissioner Madhvani on his swearing-in and looks forward to his service to the community and dedication to the administration of justice,” said Presiding Judge Julie A. Emede.

Commissioner Madhvani earned his Juris Doctor from UC Law San Francisco and his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University.
