Juvenile Dependency Courthouse Location

The Santa Clara Juvenile Dependency Court is in downtown San Jose at the Family Justice Center Courthouse. You can enter the building from First Street. The Dependency Courts are on the 4th floor. The Dependency Clerks Office is located on the first floor.

Parking

You can park at the meters on the streets nearby. You can also park at a parking lot 1 block away. It’s on the corner of N. First Street and St. James Street. Also see parking maps on the FJCC page.

If you don't want to drive, you can check the VTA (for bus and light rail) and Caltrain websites.

Security Information

There’s a metal detector at the entrance. There’s a Deputy Sheriff in every courtroom. If you are worried about safety, talk to a Deputy Sheriff.
