Family Justice Center Resumes Operations After Generator Issue

SAN JOSÉ, California (April 29, 2024): The Family Justice Center Courthouse (FJCC) is pleased to announce the resumption of operations at 12:00 p.m. today following a temporary closure due to a generator issue.  The facility experienced a power failure, resulting in the reassignment of morning appointments and hearings.  

  

Thanks to the swift action of the Court’s maintenance team, the generator problem has been resolved, and the FJCC is now fully operational. Certain calendars will remain at the Hall of Justice today as indicated below: 

  

  • Criminal Calendars will remain at the Hall of Justice (190 W. Hedding Street, San Jose 

       95110) this afternoon. 

  • Collaborative Court Calendars will be located at the Hall of Justice. 
  • D60 will be located in D27 
  • D62 will be located in D29 
  • D61 will be located in D39 

  

Hearings and appointments for tomorrow, April 30, will remain as scheduled. For more information or to find out more about a postponed appointment, visit scscourt.org.
